Louise Tiler is a ‘happy’ and ‘smiley’ separate area pattern designer, created and raised in Yorkshire and it is now located in the popular World Heritage village of Saltaire.

Louise Tiler graduated with an initial Class Honours Degree in Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern Design from Leeds university of Art in 2011.

Before graduating Louise got large recognition on her design work winning several design prizes and tournaments. Included in these are Prestigious Textiles prize from Bradford Textile community and Tigerprint on line card competition for scars & Spencers where she began freelancing throughout university and still works closely with the company today!

Inside her final year at Leeds Louise was initially recognised for her unique wallpaper collections and won Surtex Overseas design competitors ‘Designex’ in nyc and at the Historical Textile Competition 2011.

Immediately after graduating Louise got both nationwide and international recognition on her design work and ended up being named New Designer of the Year in 2011 away from lots and lots of brand new British designers in London. After very early success Louise decided to work as a completely independent fashion designer and it has gone onto freelance for some for the world’s top greeting cards, fabrics, tableware, wallpaper and homeware companies.

Louise is extremely enthusiastic about producing intricate hand-drawn and hand-painted styles. Most of her elegant artwork is carefully coated to generate detailed and well-thought-out designs that are not only an individual trademark of Louise’s hand drawn design however they are styles she is incredibly happy with because they're her very own unique hand projects.

Louise takes inspiration from everything around this lady but she's got a real love for flowery paintings, classic design and historic textile design. She combines old-fashioned hand attracted methods with modern digital processes to create vintage inspired and modern designs.

As well as wholesaling her very own range of paper items and greeting cards which launched in 2014, Louise is expanding her label through certified products and working with producers to produce an array of items including wallpaper, wall art, tableware, ceramics, smooth furnitures and handmade cards. Louise are establishing her own selection of report products in-may 2014 and can appearing on TV channel QVC in May 2014, offering her licensed homeware items.
